Shirley Ann is an integral part of our senior management team and her touch can be found in nearly all aspects of Milhouse & Neal's operations. She joined the Firm in 2000 as Director of Marketing and utilizes her extensive experience to manage and advance the financial, strategic, and practice growth initiatives of the firm. In this role, she is responsible for managing the Firm’s Marketing and Business Development Initiatives, Human Resources, Executive Recruiting, Information Technology, and Administrative Support Team.

She has a twenty-year history of leadership working as a management professional with impressive interdisciplinary credentials in marketing and business strategy, marketing communications, corporate branding, public relations, business development, human resources and human capital acquisition. She has worked with a wide range of companies, from startups and small privately held companies to large corporations. Her diversified corporate marketing and consulting experience spans a broad array of industries including accounting, architecture, engineering, health care, legal, and technology.

Shirley Ann places a strong emphasis on relationship marketing and forming strong professional alliances. She is very respected within the business community and is known for being collaborative and her ability to lead. She enjoys working with industry leaders and other business development personnel to develop and implement educational workshops, roundtables and special events relevant to business owners; which help educate and create long-term value for both current and potential clients. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company's reach.

Her greatest strengths are that she exhibits boundless energy, creativity, and passion for everything that she does. Shirley Ann is known for her positive attitude and proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once. She works hard to manage her various responsibilities and compress her weekly schedule into four days in order to take Friday's off. She has been instrumental in shaping the culture of Milhouse & Neal and has clearly articulated a set of values that are prominently communicated to all employees.

She received her training from Florida Atlantic University where she studied Marketing Management. She has many fine professional affiliations to add to her impressive history and was recently nominated “Who’s Who Among Business Professionals”. She is an active member of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce and served seven years as Chairperson for the Chamber’s Marketing Committee and was an elected member of the Chamber’s Presidents Circle. Shirley Ann is also a member of the Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Leadership board of The United Way.

Shirley Ann previously served two years as Director for the LPGA Michelob Light Classic and held the position of ESPN-Media Coordinator. She was a charter member of the Executive Women’s Golf Association and served on the Board of Directors. Shirley Ann spent ten years as a volunteer with DECA (a national association for marketing students that prepares students for careers in marketing) and was recognized for mentoring two National Award winners in the Entrepreneurship event. She then later served four consecutive years as a State and National Judge. Her most notable role is that she had the opportunity to serve as Master of Ceremonies for US President Jimmy Carter.

Being born and raised in South Florida it’s no coincidence that Shirley Ann always has a “sunny” disposition about her. She finds humor in the fact that new acquaintances will immediately refer to her as “Sunshine” which is the nickname that has followed her around since childhood. If you know Shirley Ann you know that she chooses to always walk on the sunny side of the street and you’ll rarely catch her with her head down. If you do, it’s only because she is admiring her fancy cowboy boots. She currently has a collection of 35 pairs and wears them every chance she gets. Shirley Ann enjoys live music and loves to dance. She believes that any bad day can be fixed by driving down country roads, with the windows down, and the country music up. She is passionate about living life to its fullest and if faced with a challenge she'll handle it like a true country girl; she'll look the challenge dead in the eye and give it a wink.
